Last updated: July 16, 2026

This notice explains how information is handled when you visit digitalplat.org, the shared informational website for the DigitalPlat ecosystem. It does not govern every DigitalPlat-branded product, service, donation page, or external website.

The entity identified as the operator of a particular service or program is responsible for information collected through that offering. Any service-specific privacy notice controls for that service.

2. Information this website receives

The main DigitalPlat website does not currently offer user accounts or directly request payment information.

Information may be received in the following ways:

  • Information you provide: contact details and message content when you email us or submit a request through an external channel linked from this website.
  • Basic technical information: IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, timestamps, and security events that hosting, content-delivery, or security providers may process to deliver and protect the website.

  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
  • Understand aggregate website reliability and performance; and
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Cookies and analytics

The main website does not currently deploy advertising pixels or first-party analytics cookies. Hosting, content-delivery, or security providers may use strictly necessary technologies to deliver traffic, prevent abuse, or maintain security.

See the Cookie Notice for current details. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this notice and any consent controls will be updated as required.

5. Sharing and service providers

The main website does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Information may be disclosed only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Hosting, content-delivery, security, email, and other vendors acting on behalf of the responsible entity;
  • Professional advisers where necessary to protect legal or organizational interests;
  • Authorities or other parties when required by valid legal process or applicable law; or
  • Protect users, the public, systems, or legal rights from fraud, abuse, or security threats.

6. External services

Links to DigitalPlat Domains, donation services, GitHub, OpenSource.ngo, and other external services take you to independently operated environments. Their own privacy notices and terms govern information collected there.

7. Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, abuse prevention, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by the responsible entity, system, and type of record.

8. Security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used based on the nature of the information and service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection concerning personal information handled by the responsible entity.
