Website Terms of Use

Last updated: July 16, 2026

These Website Terms of Use apply to digitalplat.org and the informational pages published under the DigitalPlat brand. By accessing this website, you agree to use it in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

Product, account, donation, open-source, and program-specific terms may apply when you leave this website or use a particular service. Those specific terms control if they conflict with these website terms.

1. The DigitalPlat ecosystem

DigitalPlat is a shared ecosystem and brand used by two separate legal entities:

  • EdgeAlphix LLC develops and operates commercial internet infrastructure and services, including DigitalPlat Domains.
  • DigitalPlat Foundation, Inc. is an independent U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity responsible for charitable, open-source, and public-interest initiatives identified as Foundation activities.

References to a specific product, service, donation, or program should be read together with the operator information and specific terms presented for that offering.

2. Scope

These terms govern access to the DigitalPlat main website, including its informational and editorial content.

They do not replace:

  • Terms presented by EdgeAlphix LLC for a commercial service;
  • Donation or program conditions presented by DigitalPlat Foundation, Inc.;
  • Open-source licenses governing software or other licensed materials; or
  • Terms and privacy notices of third-party websites linked from DigitalPlat.

3. Commercial services

Commercial infrastructure services within DigitalPlat are operated by EdgeAlphix LLC. Purchases, accounts, service delivery, billing, support, and contractual obligations for those services are governed by the terms presented by EdgeAlphix LLC for the relevant service.

DigitalPlat Domains is currently governed by its service-specific documents:

4. Charitable activities and donations

Activities identified as charitable or Foundation-led are administered by DigitalPlat Foundation, Inc. Donations made through an authorized Foundation donation page are contributions to the Foundation, not payments to EdgeAlphix LLC.

Eligibility for a charitable deduction depends on applicable law and the circumstances of the contribution. Any goods or services provided in connection with a contribution will be described in the applicable solicitation or acknowledgment.

5. Open-source materials

Software and other materials identified as open source are governed by the license included with the applicable project. Nothing in these website terms limits rights granted under an open-source license.

Materials without an identified open-source or public license remain subject to applicable intellectual property law.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use this website to:

  • Violate applicable law or the rights of another person;
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;
  • Distribute malware or interfere with the security or availability of the website; or
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with DigitalPlat, EdgeAlphix LLC, or DigitalPlat Foundation, Inc.

7. Brand and website content

DigitalPlat names, logos, visual identity, and non-open-source website content may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation without permission from the applicable rights holder.

8. Third-party services

This website links to independently operated websites and services. A link does not by itself constitute an endorsement. DigitalPlat does not control third-party availability, content, security, terms, or privacy practices.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, this informational website is provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Information on this website is general information and is not legal, tax, financial, or professional advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the entity responsible for the relevant website content will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from access to or use of this website. Service-specific liability terms apply to separate products and services.

11. Changes and governing terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the website, the DigitalPlat ecosystem, or applicable law. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Applicable law governs these website terms; separate service or program terms may identify a specific governing law and forum.
